Guilty pleasures

I’ve recently received this very special Divine award from my dear beautiful friend Ela who I adore with all my heart.

This award requires me to write about my 5 guilty pleasures. You can see my list No. 1 here and now I am going to list 5 more things that I find quite addictive.

Flowers. A bunch of fresh flower makes me very happy, so I have to have them.

Pretty things for my dog. I know Oscar does not really care about his toys (he is just as happy with an old sock or a twig as with a cute stuffed teddy bear) or collar, but I want him to have the most beautiful toys and accessories. Lately I’ve got him a red leather collar and lead set. It looks so beautiful on him!

Face care products. My make-up collection is very minimalistic, but I take a very special care when it comes to my creams, masks, serums and scrubs.

Shoes. I like to buy beautiful shoes as a treat, as something that helps me express the way I feel or make me feel different when I feel like it. I adore beautiful shoes the way I love something created by an artist, but when it comes to shoes, it’s not just about the lines, colours and style, it’s about comfort, too. I’d never wear shoes that make me feel pins in my brain when I walk.

Having my hair done. Every time I visit my stylist, he makes me feel like a princess, beautiful and pampered. I love these moments!

So, basically, yes, just to sum up ABBAs immortal lyrics, I love music. Almost all kinds of music with my special loves being classic, pop and rock. Doing this tag is something very exciting for me because it's like sharing something from my heart and soul and that is why I want to write a massive THANK YOU to the best and prettiest dentist in the world, little Miss Toothfairy. Virtual dinner party invitation

Today I am hosting a virtual dinner party and you are all invited! But before anything else, I'd like to thank The Toothfairy who tagged me. She is such a witty beautiful adorable sweet girl who works as a dentist (so yes, she is VERY intelligent, so she does not only posses beauty but also brains) and writes a blog (where does she find time for everything God only knows...).

The question is: If you were going to allow us to spend a night at your home, we'd like to know the following:

1. What books are on your favourite shelf?
Actually, I don't have shelves yet, so my books are all over the floor at the moment. In nice neat piles, but on the floor. If I have to pick three, then the list would look like this:

“Lolita” by Vladimir Nabokov
“Alchemist” by Paolo Coelho
“A dog’s heart” by Mikhail Bulgakov

2. What DVD are on your favourite shelf?
Again, no shelves. Everything is in a box and away. I am not a kind of person who displays DVDs on a shelf. And even if I had shelves than I'd use them for the books, flowers and pretty things that please my eye, not videos/DVDs.
It's difficult to choose just three movies I'd watch over and over again, so I'll go with "Under the Tuscan Sun", "Family Stone" and "Because I said so".

3. What are your two favourite cook books?

Starter: double baked cheese souffle with white grape sauce

Prosecco and still/sparkling water and then coffee.
I must confess, I don't really drink. I think it only happens a few times a year and if I do, then it's either prosecco, Kindzmarauli (gorgeous Georgian wine), port or cognac.

And I'd love to visit Sofie, Haute World, Anya, Sarah, OceanDreams and CoutureCarrie. I am accepting your invitations, darlings! Whenever you are ready. ;)

I adore getting ready for our trips, planning what to wear, booking hotels and tickets, getting up early in the morning to go to the Eurostar, spending time in a different country, discovering new places, learning, soaking up the atmosphere... And as I said in one of my previous posts, "when you life is packed in a suitcase you get the best picks".

3. Working out.

It probably sounds borderline silly, but I do need my sleep. Ideally, 8.5 hours. I get really grumpy and miserable when I cannot have my simple pleasure and feel blissfully happy when I can.
